What year Is that 911? I’m afraid that’s all I have to go on. Those look to be rubber bumpers.

That’s either an early us spec 911 or 912. Not enough exposed to tell.

70 912 could be either I’m a pessimist so I say it’s a 912

I’d be happy with a 912 tbh.

Me as well and they were so cheap 15 years ago when I was broke. I tapped out of an eBay auction because it was too expensive it sold for $4500 running, driving rust free.

What’s the deal with the Caddy? She’s nose up like the powertrain is out.

I’d put money on it being a 912.

That’s a 1968 912 with the original wood wheel and walnut trim. The owner has no idea why it won’t start, not realizing it’s a timing issue due to a loose set screw on the distributor cap that rotated while driving and hitting bumps. The passenger side rear tire is low. The inside of cylinder #4 needs attention as there is a pinhole leak in the gasket.
Can’t tell much more from just that corner at that distance. Sorry.

I don’t know, there were other cars there that looked to have their engines removed

Late ‘60s; as others have said, it could be either a 911 or a 912.

Huh. It’s new enough to have had the 4.9 (derived from the HT4100 disaster). I bet the trans crapped the bed and the whole shebang got yanked.

That’s why I couldn’t figure out what sort of Buick it was.. Now my post looks really dumb. Guess I don’t know my late 90s GM luxury(“luxury”) vehicles.

Sorry. I think. I’m a lover of cars that aren’t loved.
I didn’t see your post. It looks like a sixth gen Sedan DeVille. The HT 4900 was actually a good engine in spite of the beta testing GM kept doing. GM was well on it’s way in making Chevy small blocks it’s mainstay by then. They were just humoring Cadillac and Oldsmobile with those fancy OHC V8s
Wait? Where am I? Why am I here??

What’s the problem?, I wanted to know what year it was so I could look up how much parts would cost and what sort of issues it might have, or how much it might be worth.
